Barbara MacKirdy is the owner of Noah's Travels, started in 1990.  She has been a resident of La Verne since 1970 and a chamber member since 1996.  Barbara has been an Ambassador for the chamber for 7 years and Chair of the Ambassadors for 2 years.  She is a member of the Taste of La Verne Committee, Golf Tournament , the Miss La Verne Committee

Carolyn Anderson lives in Upland. She has six children and 11 grandchildren. Carolyn works for Waste Management as Manager of Public Affairs. She has been honored with the Waste Management’s Community Involvement Award and Circle of Excellence Award.

Carolyn is a current member of the Rotary Club of La Verne, a past-president of the Rancho Cucamonga and Ontario Rotary Clubs and has served as Assistant Governor for Rotary District 5300, Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) committee, and Group Study Exchange (GSE) committee.

She is active in several organizations such as: Cucamonga Valley Water District’s “The Frontier Project” – Director; Travelers’ Aid of the Inland Empire – 2003/2005 President; Upland Council Advisory Committee, Habitat for Humanity Pomona Valley Chapter – Advisory Board; Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce – Golf Committee Chair-former member of Board of Directors; Corona Chamber of Commerce- former member Board of Directors/Government Relations-Transportation Committee; San Dimas Chamber of Commerce- Board of Directors and Chairwoman 2008/2009; La Verne Chamber of Commerce-Board of Directors member; Fowler Chamber of Commerce – Vice President; L.A. County Fairplex “Big Yellow Bus Program” member for City of Diamond Bar, Diamond Bar Community Foundation – Vice President;  and member of the San Gabriel Valley Public Affairs Network.

Carolyn enjoys spending her spare time fixing up her home, playing golf, traveling, and having the grandkids for sleepovers.

Dan Neale is a native of California and a resident of Upland. He is a graduate of Lutheran High School, La Verne and University of La Verne. Dan is the owner of the local Nationwide Insurance Agency and has over 17 years experience in the insurance business. In 2006 and 2007, Nationwide Insurance Company awarded the Champion Award to his Nationwide office. The office was also fortunate enough to be awarded New Business of the Year 2007 to 2008, by the La Verne Chamber of Commerce. Other activities for Dan include serving as a board member for Redeemer Lutheran Christian School in Ontario and an active member of the Upland PTA. He is also a member of the Claremont and San Dimas Chamber of Commerce. At the La Verne Chamber he is active on the Business Development Committee and serves as an Ambassador. Dan's wife Michelle, his daughter Madison and son Rawley are his inspiration and joy.

Jody works in La Verne serving as the President/CEO of Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity.  She has been with Habitat for 2 ½ years, previously working at Hillcrest, also located in La Verne.  She is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona, Mt. San Antonio College and received her certificate in mediation from the Claremont Dispute and Resolution Center.  Jody also co-produces Jerry D. Mead’s New World International Wine Competition.  This annual event keeps her busy year round, and she has been involved with the competition for 20 years.

Jody has been active in the chamber for six years, serving on the board of directors, most recently as chair, as well as past chair of the Chamber Golf Tournament and Taste of La Verne Committees. 

Julie was born and raised in La Verne, attended Bonita High School and University of La Verne.  After graduation, married and settled in La Verne, teaching in San DImas as an elementary school teacher.  Her second teaching position was in the Walnut School District as an 8th grade science teacher.  During this time period, her husband passed away, leaving her with her two bohys, Ben and Brandon.  Both boys went to BOnita High School and one is currently a sophmore at ULV.

Julie sits on the board of the La Verne Church of the Brethren, is a member of Soroptmists and AAUW and has recently completed a year-long seminar called The Wisdom Course.  Julie currently works at ULV  as the Church Relations Director and the Development Director for the College  of Arts and Sciences

Arun D. Tolia is a Realtor® with Evergreen Realty.

He specializes in First Time Home Buyers’ representation. He is very familiar with property markets in La Verne, San Dimas, Glendora and Rancho Cucamonga areas.

He has been a member of the business community in La Verne for over 10 years.  Arun has been a member of the La Verne Chamber of Commerce for  10  years and has served as a member of the Board for 8 years. He is also a  past Chair of the Board.  He is the Co-Chair of the  fund raising committees of LeRoys Cruising La Verne Car Show, and Committee Member of the Good Samaritan Fund for the Hillcrest Homes and Taste of La Verne .

He is the current Chair of San Gabriel Valley Legislative Coalition.

 He is also well known to various  city organization for his contribution to the community. He has been recognized, time and time again, by La Verne Police Dept for the support of its Nation Night Out . . He was honored with the Patriot Award and Spirit Award  by the City of La Verne for his participation in 4^th of July Celebrations.  He is  graduate of the La Verne Police Dept., Citizen”s Academy. He  won their  Sharp Shooter Award in 2002

Arun has been a resident of La Verne since 1995,  when his family and he migrated from Nairobi, Kenya where he is born and raised.   Arun is married to Vanita Tolia, his wife of 41  years and has four daughters and six grandchildren.

Lynn is a native Southern California resident.  She grew up in Long Beach but has lived in Claremont for 30 years.  She has 3 grown daughters and 6 grandchildren all under the age of 5.

Hillcrest has been a part of her working life for the past 10 years.  As Director of Marketing and Community Relations, she is responsible for advertising, sales, planning and scheduling events, marketing and community relations.  She is passionate about the people she comes in contact with each day and believes it is her privilege to help them to make decisions regarding their futures and providing a seamless transition to Hillcrest.

She serves on the Cultural Arts Society of La Verne Board of Directors and is a VNA Hospice Board member. 

Lynn looks forward to her service on the La Verne Chamber of Commerce Board.    

Rhonda Beltran has been a professional fundraiser for 27 years and held the position of Director of Development for McKinley Children’s Center’s in San Dimas for the past fifteen years.   She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University.  She is actively involved in the San Dimas and La Verne communities.

Rhonda has served on various Boards and Committees in the surrounding communities; she has been President of the San Dimas Chamber Board of Directors, Soroptimist of San Dimas/LaVerne, and La Fetra Foundation Board of Directors.  She has also served in various leadership roles for the La Fetra Site Council, TEAM Referral Network, Neighborhood Christian Fellowship and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

She has been recognized with the 1991 National Association of Hospital Development Showcase Award – First Place Award for excellence in the Capital Campaign Category, the 1994 “A Recognition of Excellence” Award – San Gabriel Valley YWCA Women of Achievement, and Member of the Year Award, and the Soroptimist International San Dimas/La Verne Soroptimist of the Year by the District 1 Leadership Council

Her passion in life is to make a difference in children’s lives.  Rhonda has been married to her high school sweetheart since 1989 and has two children.
